1994 Reynard Indy car # 14 used by Hemelgarn for Stan Fox / Jeff Andretti at Indy in 1994. Had a Ford Cosworth XB engine. Car was used in Japan as a show car. The car was bought from Swift in Ca. It had no motor or trans. Now has a rebuilt 1996 trans. Previous owner installed a 383 sbc motor all new parts in motor other than block. Mickey Thompson D.O.T. tires (2011 Date codes). Had new alt. /battery / fuel pump / lights super starter / 1050 Holly /manifold / water pump / USED three-stage oil pump at time of the engine build.
Stainless lines. Run time around 4 hrs. Winner of the Music City car show. Was the show stopper. Blew the exotic cars and show cars away. Car trailer to go with the car. Alum heads/ roller rockers. Has not been ran in a few years.
History:
The car was bought from Hiro Matsushita. He drove the car at Indy. Reynard co. of England built this car for Hemelgarm racing. The Reynard cars won Indy many times. As the Indy motor does not have a onboard starter.
